Usagi Drop
11 episodes - 2011
Slice of Life
Synopsis:
By force of circumstances, a 30-year-old
single man with a full-time job suddenly starts raising a 6-year-old
girl. While running each other ragged, the two of them gradually grow
into a “family”. This is the long-awaited anime version of “Bunny Drop”,
the extremely popular and finely crafted comic by Yumi Unita. It’s a
heartwarming and entertaining work that naturally depicts child-raising
experiences, but also the instantly relatable warmth and noise of being
in a family.

My Review:
I'll make this quick. This was quite simply, a short, adorable, enjoyable slice of life anime. We like slice of life becasue well, they show us a slice of life! haha In Usagi-Drop we see practical strangers, Daikichi and Rin-chan who came together by unusual circumstances and struggle to make a family. The series was quirky, fun and put a smile on my face every episode. Sometimes, it really is the simple things in life that make it worth while. This series is one of those things.
So, give it a watch if you have a couple of hours.
