DRAMA TIME: Summer x Summer

I've just finished watching Summer x Summer starring the adorable Joe Cheng and Cai Yi Zhen.

Here's the sypnosis:
Because of one dollar, Xia Ya (Cai Yi Zhen) befallen many unfortunate events. When she feels like all hope has lost, an angel comes and gives her one dollar which saves her life. She falls in love with that angel, who is a model dressed in an angel outfit. But he is no angel - he is the devil in disguise, Ouyang Lei (Joe Cheng), the younger brother of her best friend, Ouyang Yu Yan.
Being the youngest of the family as well as a famous model, Lei is very spoiled and everyone let him have his way, until Xia Ya came along. Xia Ya did what nobody else would do, and Lei starts to develop an interest in her, but he seems very devilish in his ways. What will become of them?

The summary DOES NOT DO THE DRAMA JUSTICE. This is a funny, enjoyable drama, that'll have you smiling after every episode. I loved Joe Cheng in this drama, he was more serious in ISWAK, but in Summer x Summer, he was SO DAMN ADORABLE....especially when he was sulking or pouting, I just wanted to eat him up!!!!

Bull Fighting: Taiwanese Drama

Hey guyz...
So, I've just finished Bull fighting..
it was pretty good, not one of the best I've watched, but pretty good.
I loved the characters, each of them had their own quirky behavior that made it so you couldn't help but like them.

HEre's the sypnosis from Dramawiki:
It started as a 3-on-3 basketball competition between two rival schools; an annual event in which the winner would control the 13th Street basketball court for the following year. To everybody's surprise, the 9-year reigning champion lost this year... and it was all because of one girl. Now, this game has a new purpose.
Yi Sheng Xue (
Hebe), a hot-headed young girl, is an avid Bull Fighting fan. At her side is her loyal childhood friend and personal bodyguard, Jin Zi Cong (Lee Wei). Their lives take a drastic turn when they meet Shen Ruo He (Mike He), whom Sheng Xue falls deeply in love with. However, they encounter many obstacles that stand in the way of them being together.
Will love triumph over evil? And will Zi Cong be able to live with seeing the woman he loves, love another man?

Try it, it's not one of the best, but worth watching. Gets a 3/5 by Looney Express Reviews!!!

Charley's Web by Joy Fielding

Ok, I've just finished reading this awesome book and decided I had to share it with the world...ok maybe not the world, but at least the small population that may be reaidng my blog.

Here's the sypnosis from Barnes and Nobles:
Successful columnist and single mother Charley Webb has spent years building an emotional wall against scathing critics, snooty neighbours, and her disapproving family. But when she receives a letter from Jill Rohmer, a young woman serving time on death row for the murders of three small children, her wall slowly begins to crumble. Jill wants Charley to write her biography so that she can share the many hidden truths about the case that failed to surface during her trial–including the existence of a mysterious man she calls Jack, who may just be the actual killer. Seeing this as an opportunity to gain journalistic credibility, Charley begins her journey into the mind of this deeply troubled woman.

What do you think? Sounds awesome? You bet it is? I don't wanna give anything away, which I tend to do when talking about a book, So I'll end here. HAPPY READING!

Devil Beside You: Taiwanese Drama

Hey guys,
it's me again.

So about a week and a half ago I finished watching Devil Beside You. It's a 17 episode taiwanese drama. It was pretty good, I'll give it a 6/10. The characters were likable, the plot was intriging. Although, the ending could have been better. It's a romantic comedy.

Here's the sypnosis from Dramawiki:
After finally getting the courage to confess her feelings, Qi Yue (Rainie Yang) was handing her love letter to Yuan Yi (Kingone), but by a stroke of bad luck, he did not see and walked passed her. The person standing in front of her was the troublemaker of the school, infamously known for his devilish ways – Jiang Meng (Mike He). The devil will get what he wants, and the object of his desire was Qi Yue. Although having a cruel exterior, Ah Meng’s heart is kind and caring, which truly touched Qi Yue. The big problem remained – Ah Meng is the son of the man Qi Yue’s mother is going to marry. Even though they were not related by blood, who will accept this step brother-sister relationship? What is to become of their relationship when other lovers come into the picture?

I suggest you guys try. I also recommend Bullfighting and It Started With a Kiss of course!
